"I have to say I was totally gob-smacked, the amount of iron oxide that came out from the MagnaClean unit in only 20 minutes. It was unbelievable. We showed it to the customer and they were equally impressed. And, believe me it takes a lot to impress me. What is even more remarkable was the fact that we had taken out the boiler, taken out the tank and cleaned it out, replaced the feed and vent pipe and power flushed the system. It just shows that you can never get all the sludge/rust out of a system. We will be recommending that MagnaClean is fitted to every boiler from now on. In fact, I think it should be compulsory. "In February 2000, I fitted a new heat exchanger due to kettling. By 2004 it was bad again and I ended up with the output at 47 (maximum is 80). None of the flushing fluids had much effect but in July 2004, I hired a powerflush pump and circulated DS40. This seemed to do the trick and I was able to reset the output to 80. However, in January 2005 it started to kettle again and I reduced the output to 70. It seemed as though the boiler was on the downward spiral again. Then I saw MagnaClean on the web. I fitted it on 24/03/2005 and this weekend 03/04/2005 I was able to increase the output to 80 again in two steps. The boiler seems to be getting quieter all the time. I think that this is an amazing result. As soon as I have time I intend to remove the magnet, photograph and clean it. I will email it to you.
