The coveted industry award, Installers’ Mate of the Year, is for the product that makes everyday working life easier for the UK’s engineers within the heating and plumbing sector. It is voted for exclusively by installers and is open to manufacturers of new and innovative products.

The award recognises the company’s advanced MagnaClean Professional filter which maintains and protects new and existing central heating systems.

The high efficiency, full-flow magnetic filter removes virtually 100% of the suspended black iron oxide that builds up in all central heating systems reducing efficiency and damaging the boiler, effectively shortening its operational life. It has enough capacity to remove almost 300g of sludge from a central heating system.

The product is the invention of company founder Chris Adey who was delighted with the recognition received from the industry.

It comes from the installers who are the lifeblood of the sector. So, to receive such a massive vote of confidence for MagnaClean Professional from them is fantastic,” he says.
