To tie in with ADEY’s development of its core range of environmentally beneficial products, MagnaClean Professional, MagnaClean TwinTech, MagnaClean Industrial and MagnaClean PowerFlushing Filter, the company has accelerated its drive for a greener business with further initiatives at all levels.
Company Managing Director Chris Adey is fully behind the initiative and actively gets involved participating in the ride-to-work scheme for which bicycles are provided for employees within cycling distance of the head office in Cheltenham.
“This is an important issue and everyone at ADEY has signed up to the carbon neutral code we’ve introduced. It’s something we’re particularly proud of and want to take even further,” he explains.
“I’m pleased more organisations are starting to take the issue seriously, but there’s still more that can be done. It’s important for us as a company to be making a valid contribution.
“It obviously helps that our MagnaClean technology already makes a positive impact on the environment on a domestic and a commercial level. Part of our focus is on delivering millions of far more efficient central heating systems up and down the country which will make a significant difference to overall carbon emission levels,” he adds.
Other in-company initiatives include recycling; literature production on recycled stock; a car sharing scheme; as well as promoting green practice in every area of activity.
