As part of the deal, ADEY will exclusively supply its 22mm and 28mm magnetic filters which will form part of a new standard installation policy for British Gas engineers operating throughout the UK.
ADEY’s National Account Director Phil Sadler believes the decision by British Gas to adopt the new policy is excellent news all round bringing with it benefits to the energy provider, its engineers out in the field, customers and the environment.
“This technology is proven and is becoming accepted best practice in the industry. The introduction of MagnaClean Professional to every installation will provide ongoing protection for new central heating systems which, as a result, will have fewer maintenance issues and will go on working for far longer in the future,” he says.
“More importantly, it will also mean more satisfied customers which is a key consideration. Customers can actually see for themselves how effective MagnaClean Professional is when the filter is serviced reassuring them and giving peace of mind,” he adds.
“If MagnaClean Professional is fitted to every domestic central heating system in the country, the overall impact will be significant. Systems will be far more effective and perform much more closely to optimum levels, which in turn would contribute to a reduction in carbon emissions in every household,” highlights Phil Sadler.
Last year, ADEY supplied British Gas national installation engineers with the company’s MagnaClean PowerFlushing Filter to enhance the traditional power-flushing process to remove sludge trapped in the system. This latest development is seen as a natural progression, introducing industry ‘best practice’ to all installation and service engineers working for British Gas.
